It only takes a spark to set the fire burning. And so it shall be for ‘SPARKS’, an online newsletter by UOW students for UOW students in AEC College. We hope that ‘SPARKS’ will not only be the channel to inform students about what’s going on in our campus, but also provide the opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and talents.

Previously, we had separate newsletters for the MBA and BA students. Through “SPARKS” we have streamlined the communication process by consolidating all postgraduate and undergraduate news into a single online platform. Hopefully, this will also promote greater understanding and interaction between all UOW students.

We, the editors, owe our sincere thanks to Mr. Seow, our Head of School, for his support and encouragement on this meaningful project. We would also like to thank all the students who contributed to this issue. “SPARKS” can only succeed with the active contributions and support of our students. Therefore, we strongly urge all those who want to make a difference to pick up the pen and start writing for ‘SPARKS’.
