About the School

The School of Graduate Studies offers an exciting suite of graduate and undergraduate programmes for local as well as international students. The fast-track programmes in the school allow outstanding students to enrol at the foundation level and progress all the way to an internationally recognized MBA.

CEO’S DIALOGUE SESSION WITH UOW STUDENTS

June was a special month for some UOW MBA and final year BA students. Mr David Ho, the CEO of AEC College, met up with the postgraduates and undergraduates on separate occasions to find out for himself their progress as well as to gather feedback on various issues. Mr. Ho also shared with the students his invaluable experience and some tips on how to succeed in life.

AEC Welcomes New UOW Students
8th July 2011
On 10 Jun 2011, AEC welcomed more than 30 new students from various parts of China. The students are here to enrol in the 4-year undergraduate programme leading to the University of Wales, Newport‘s Bachelor of Arts degree. Escorted by their teacher from China, the students were welcomed by the Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Nabs Naidu, Principal for International Recruitment, Mr. Frankie Teo, and the Head of School, Mr. Seow Thiam Beng. Student leaders were also there to welcome the new students.

The MBA Debate 2011 created the stage for the vocal students enrolled in the University of Wales, Newport MBA to engage in healthy discussion of key business issue. The two teams, formed by students from cohort 3 & 4, debated over whether men or women are more productive at work.
