Programme Description

The Various working environments are getting ever more complex, creating a variety of challenges that need to be overcome by a new generation of dynamic managers. The Newport MBA offers a fresh approach to solve various issues faced by employers today. This builds on a strong ethos of helping people solve real business problems. We believe in preparing you with the ability to develop awareness and understanding the variety of problem interpretations and their potential solutions acts as a cornerstone to this course. This is general multi-disciplinary MBA programme which includes modules such as strategic marketing, financial analysis, operations management, innovation, globalisation and strategic leadership and business transformation.


Programme Aims

  • To enable the advanced study of organisations, their management and the changing external context in which they operate.
  • Prepare individuals for and/or development of a career in business and management by developing skills at a professional or equivalent level, or as preparation for research or further study in the area.
  • Development of the ability to apply knowledge and understanding of business and management to complex issues, both systematically and creatively, to improve business and management practice.
  • Enhancement of lifelong learning skills and personal development so as to be able to work with self-direction and originality and to contribute to business and society at large.

 



Entry Requirements

A recognised bachelor’s degree or equivalent;

or

A recognised diploma + 5 years of working experience.

and

English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.5.

Applicants may also be required to attend an interview.
