About the Program:

This is a 500 hours program to equip students with management and super visionary skills necessary for the efficient operation of child-care centers and kindergartens

Course Objectives

• To raise awareness of issues pertaining to government guidelines, curriculum implementation and current research in pre-school education
• To equip candidates with simple action research skills
• To provide candidates with skills to observe, evaluate and appraise teacher-effectiveness in providing a creative learning environment and thereafter, mentor fellow-teachers
• To provide candidates with management and supervision skills that promote effective learning program, encourage teamwork among staff and collaboration with parents.
• To equip candidates with administrative and management skills necessary for the efficient operation of pre-school centres

• Diploma in Pre-School Education - Teaching

Program Duration:

500 hours – 380 hours classroom and 120 hours attachment

Mode of Assessment:

Assessment by either individual assignment, group projects, class presentation and / or test
