Advanced Diploma in Business Management (Stage 2)

(In partnership with South Lanarkshire College, Scotland)

The Advanced Diploma in Business Management (Stage 2) is a 12 month full-time programme designed to introduce students to a whole range of business disciplines at a higher level of study. The programme includes aspects of finance, marketing and management to facilitate an understanding of the role of business in today's commercial world. It is roughly equivalent to year 1 of an Undergraduate Degree.

Course Details

Upon completion of this program, students should be able to learn and conform to accepted academic practice and integrate into undergraduate study. Students should be able to demonstrate skills and knowledge to progress to either year 2 or 3 at undergraduate level.

Admission Requirement

GCE 'A' levels or 5 GCE 'O' Level credits (including English and Mathematics) or 12 years of school education or the Advanced Diploma in Business Management (Stage 1) or equivalent and have English language of at least IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (for non-English speaking countries).

Course Duration

8 months full-time.

Assessment

A variety of assessment methods are used including coursework, presentations, research projects and examinations.

Examinations and intakes

There are 6 intakes a year. The forthcoming intakes for 2009 are in January, March, May, August, October and November.
