Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Retailing (Retail Management)

Course Description

The program aims to train, coach and impart competent skills and techniques to students for careers in the Retail Industry. Retailing revolves greatly around fulfilling and even exceeding guest requirements and expectations.
It is professional, challenging, rewarding and often one gets to serve celebrity guests. It is also down-to-earth as you meet people from all walks of life, get involved in upfront service and have an opportunity to be an entrepreneur by running your own business!

Entry Requirements

Foundation Certificate:
GCE 'O', 'N' Levels or Completed year 10 of high school for International students OR Matured students above 21 yrs of age.
IELTS 4.0/TOEFL of 450 or equivalent English competency test.

Diploma:
Pass in IELTS 4.5/TOEFL 500 or equivalent, minimum 3 O levels or 5 N levels OR Mature students above 21 years of age with some secondary school education and working experience.

Advanced Diploma:
Same as in Diploma plus Diploma in Retailing (Retail management) from AEC or equivalent

Duration

The Diploma consists of 8 modules to be completed in 3 semesters of 2 months each.
The Advanced Diploma consists of 10 modules to be completed in 6 terms of 2 months.

The assessment of each subject will be based on 60% for final exam and 40% for presentations, assignments and projects.

Fees

Diploma

The tuition fee is S$5,500. This is inclusive of course materials, and examinations.
Other administrative and government approved charges between S$ 700 and S$1440 is payable upon acceptance into the program.

Advance Diploma

The tuition fee is S$6,500. This is inclusive of course materials, and examinations.
Other administrative and government approved charges between S$ 700 and S$1440 is payable upon acceptance into the program. (These other charges are reduced by more than half if both the Diploma and Advanced Diploma are pursued).
