ACCA Students
New Exemption for LCCI Graduates
LCCI has been informed by ACCA that those with the following LCCI qualification will be exempted from ACCA Paper F3. Please note that the exemption will apply for LCCI graduates from May 2008 to December 2012.

ACCA Progress Test
Results for Progress Tests have shown that there are a crop of students in the current batch who are scoring well.
Ingyin Maung Maung (right) has shown good progress with scores above 68 for all 3 papers F1, F2 and F3.Expectations of her scores for F4, F5 and F6 are greater. The student has indicated that she will use the facilities at our school to do her revision.
Congrats to high scoring student
AEC would like to congratulate Mr Sayanthan Ariyaratnam on his score of 89 for Paper F3 - Financial Accounting in the December 2008 session. Scholarship places are open for students who score good results in more than one subject. We wish him success in his next set of papers.
Sayanthan would like to thank his lecturers and AEC for the guidance during his course of studies.
When contacted she has expressed her thanks to AEC and lecturers Mr Andrew Pang and Mr Parmindar Singh for the guidance she had for papers 3.7 and 3.5 respectively.
We wish her success in her future endeavors.

Entry Requirements
Mature Student Entry Route (MSER)
This entry allows anyone above 21 years of age to register for ACCA. However the student must finish Papers F2 & F3 in two years to continue being registered for the program
Professional Entry Route (PER)
- 2 GCE A Levels and 3 GCE O Levels (including English and Mathematics) or equivalent
- LCCI, 3 higher and 2 Intermediate level passes (including English and Mathematics)
- Completed the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) qualification for entry into Fundamental Skills of ACCAs Professional Examination.
- Diploma from recognized Polytechnic
Note :
For Diplomas and Degrees from recognized institutions in respective countries, the appropriate qualifications need to be forwarded to ACCA for assessment with regard to entry and exemptions

Duration
International students will have to apply for a student pass to complete their studies in Singapore. Student must complete their studies within the course period of three and a half years.

All fees are subject to revision*
Medical Check: Upon obtaining of approval of student pass you are advised to make a provision of $100 - $200 for medical checks and visa required by the immigration in Singapore. The usual cost of the medical check up will be at approximately S$60 - S$80. Living Costs: Students staying in Singapore will incur expenses of approximately S$600 - S$800 a month including transportation, food and housing (room sharing costs). This will depend on the lifestyle of the student.
Closing Date for Registration for Student Membership
When to Register
A student can apply to register with ACCA at any time. However, there are two examination sessions per year, and in order to sit for a particular session ACCA must receive the students Registration Form by the following dates:
For the June examinations
Register at ACCA by 15 December of the preceding year
Register at ICPAS by 15 December of the preceding year
For the December examinations
Register at ACCA by 15 August of the same year Register at ICPAS by 31 July of the same year

The student must obtain three years relevant supervised practical experience in his/her employment to use the ACCA letters after his/her name.
