Programme Description
This course aims to develop and upgrade the skills of participants in the maintenance management of buildings and facilities.
Programme Objectives
- Systematic planning and organisation of maintenance works.
- The implementation of cost-effective contracted maintenance works.
- Working knowledge and competency in contract administration, cost Estimation and tendering procedures.
- Skills in the servicing and maintenance of Mechanical and Electrical Systems especially the updating of legislation governing the installation and operation of electrical works.
- Diagnosis of concrete and structural defects and rectification methods.
- Understanding legislation and government regulations pertaining to Property Management and Strata Title Management.

- Scope and objective of Property Management
- Legislation relating to Building Maintenance in Singapore
