Business Development Manager

(Located in Singapore)

To carry out the following responsibilities:

• To source and evaluate new business opportunities;
• To evaluate the viability and thereafter establishing new school projects and representative offices abroad;
• To review and develop new programs/courses;
• To undertake periodical reviews of the strategies and recommend changes if required.

Requirements:

• Degree holder or equivalent qualification;
• At least 5 years' of related working experience in education and training;
• Exposures in Asian and European markets;
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

GCE ‘O’ Level CHEMISTRY Lecturer

We urgently require a part time teacher for the above subject.
The lecturer can teach either part-time or full-time primarily to foreign students.

Requirements:

• A local university degree in Science subjects is preferred. Those trained at NIE would have an added advantage.
• Teaching experience is essential.

Lecturers

Due to our rapid expansion, we are in need of quality lecturers to join our academic department. Reporting to the respective Head of Schools, you will lecture in our campus in Singapore (full-time or part-time). Academic staff will be involved in the total development of our students, development of teaching and training curriculum, conducting lectures/tutorials, course delivery and participation industry project development.

Besides teaching, you will also have the opportunity to work on curriculum development work, quality assurance of the programs, and marketing activities in promoting the schools.

Student Welfare Officer

AEC Business School is accepting applications for the position of Student Welfare Officer. This person will be the primary point of contact with our students. He or she will interact with them on a daily basis.

Duties of the position will include:

• Counseling students on personal or academic matters
• Planning and carrying out extra-curricular programmes and activities to benefit students and foster a caring psychosocial environment
• Overseeing attendance record collection and keeping and filing police reports
• Designing and implementing a feedback collection mechanism for student input and recording the student feedback
• Monitoring student behaviour and responding with appropriate disciplinary responses
• Liaising with programme heads, managers, teachers and staff as necessary with regard to student matters

Requirements:

• Emotionally mature
• Organized, motivated, able to self-direct
• Good communication skills
• Pleasant, friendly personality - able to establish rapport with students
• Experience in school environments
• Experience in the counseling field a plus
• Mandarin speaking a plus
