Part of the Korean students with Mr Gobee.

On 19 May 2010 10 am, manager, staff, lecturers and students of AEC were at The Padang, City Hall waiting for the buses to arrive. It was a cloudy and drizzling morning, but every volunteer was excited and eager to meet the Korean students. Each team leader was excited to show the students around, and to let them experience a little about living in Singapore.

Soon the buses arrived with 148 Korean students, teens aged from 13 to 17 years from Anyang Foreign Language High School Anyang in Gyounggi province, South Korea . The students had majored in English, Chinese and Japanese. They were divided into 10 groups, and each group was led by a volunteer from AEC College. The students had the opportunity to travel via public transportation - either by MRT or buses.

The first stop, students were brought to AEC College where they had the opportunity to look at the school's facilities and meet with some of the teachers and staff. But as soon as they arrived at the school, they were more interested in visiting the restrooms, after such a long bus journey from Johor Bahru! (cont'd)
